RECORDING OF A PERFORMANCE IN DUNDEE ON 28TH NOVEMBER 2002. RELEASED ON 3 INCH CD-R BY 8M RECORDS.

"I had heard a lot about the live Opaque experience. Depending on whose opinion I took notice of they were either "fucking amazing" or "absolutely shite". I'd also heard that they play incredibly loud, attack guitars with knives and chains, and often destroy equipment [all of which turned out to be true]. I decided it was about time that I witnessed this for myself. I was not disappointed. I have never seen a live band split an audience so drastically. About 3 minutes in, one of the audience members actually got up on stage and unplugged both guitars. The band simply plugged them back in and carried on. The antagonism from some of the audience was incredible. The rest took offence at this and two opposing sides quickly emerged. At times it seemed that the whole room was going to erupt. Cans and bottles were thrown and abuse shouted at the band all the way through the performance. Twenty minutes later it was over. The band packed up I went home with ringing ears and amazement at how much trouble two guys with guitars can cause." - Tracy Foulds
